Academic background

Luxury pattern texture background

I completed an undergraduate degree in Information Systems, where I focused on practical software development, systems analysis, and database management. The program emphasized both business-facing software workflows and underlying system architecture which prepares me to view security through the lens of operational requirements and user behavior. Core topics included systems analysis, business programming, Python programming, information systems development, and database management.

Currently, I am pursuing a Master’s degree in Cybersecurity to formalize and expand my understanding of offensive and defensive practices. Graduate coursework has deepened my study of red team methodologies, network and host defense, digital forensics, and security policy. The program also includes lab-based exercises that simulate real-world attack scenarios in safe, repeatable ways so findings can be analyzed without endangering production systems.

How Education Informs My Work

My education combines technical competence with applied projects. I intentionally select projects that bridge academic rigor with practical utility: prototypes that demonstrate secure defaults, lab exercises that clarify attacker tradeoffs, and reports that recommend prioritized, actionable mitigations. This approach ensures that education directly informs real-world security improvements.
